The blowing plant was located in a desert area, with ambient temperatures frequently above 50oC. Most of the machines would have problems when running in such a hot environment. So, a four-stage ABC compressor with double-acting cylinders was acquired. In order to keep the optimal performance of the complete package and, considering the extreme indoors temperatures, a soft starter and a PLC control were installed, fitted with air conditioning in the electric cabinet. Lubrication system was equipped with oil cooler as standard.
