AWH stainless steel lids are used as sealing components for service openings in vessels and machines in the food and drinks industry, as well as the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

The generally pressure-free, round stainless steel lids are available with diameters from 200 mm to 600 mm as standard. The range is supplemented by a variety of oval or rectangular lids with various dimensions. On request, the AWH stainless steel lids are also available as pressure dome lids for various operating pressures and temperatures.
Parts in contact with the medium are made from the materials 1.4301 (304) or 1.4404 (316 L) as standard, with finishes ranging from untreated, etched, blasted to polished. Depending on the use and the roof shape, different seals are available. In particular during the development of the round sterile lids, the main focus was a hygienic seal with FDA-compliant seal materials.
