The filter medium of FILTROX membrane filter cartridges is made of hydrophilic polyethersulfone (PES) and is installed in the cartridge in pleated form. This type of filter cartridge is used exclusively in the final filtration of products, which have already been pre-clarified, to ensure removal of harmful microorganisms. It guarantees sterile filtration immediately prior to bottling.
