The Sub MkIIP is currently the only continuous gas monitor capable of meeting the requirements of the NATO STANAG 1320 Ed4.

During its development, the Sub MKIIP was subjected to extensive testing, including DISSUB and Survivex exercises. This means the Sub MKIIP is designed to be quick and easy to use, whilst ensuring accuracy and reliability are never compromised.
Over 700 units are in active service with more than 20 nations.
The Sub MKIIP provides critical information on the state of the DISSUB atmosphere to the senior survivor and crew enabling them to make the all-important decision of 'wait for rescue' or 'commence emergency escape'. Its internal batteries provide power for more than seven days of continuous real-time measurements.
The Sub MKIIP is portable and lightweight, meaning it can be used anywhere on a submarine. We recommend having a Sub MKIIP in all areas of a submarine, in case an emergency situation occurs.
