These stainless steel cables or lifting beam with quick connects attach to the Mash Colander and a lifting hook for easily removing the Colander once mashing is complete. 1/16" braided stainless steel cables for the Small and Medium Colanders and the 1/8" braided stainless steel cables for the Large. The Stainless Lifting Beam for the 3BBL and 5BBL Mash Colanders is rated 2000lb, comes with swivel lifting hooks for easy attachment and reduces the overhead clearance necessary for lifting the Colander out of the fermenter.

Please note: all cables and beams should be strength tested before use and for safety, do NOT walk under a suspended mash colander
